A clear subject, strong contrast and readable silhouette help a pixel mosaic communicate at a distance. A busy background or tiny lettering may need simplifying. Send the best-quality original you have, along with what matters most: a facial expression, a particular color, a recognizable pose or a detail with personal meaning.

The design starts before the cubes.
Brian reviews the image and develops a custom pixel composition. Cropping, orientation and the proposed size affect how much detail survives. You review the design direction before the physical build is committed.
Custom color-matched decals are then applied by hand to full-size 3×3 cubes. This is not a puzzle-solving service and it is not limited to standard cube colors. The arrangement is planned as one complete artwork.
03
Bring the subject and the setting together.
A family portrait above a console has different needs from a company image across a lobby. Include a wall photograph, approximate available dimensions and the usual viewing distance. For logos, photographs and other supplied material, discuss permission to use the reference.
The project proposal defines the artwork, backing, mounting approach and delivery arrangements. Brian can assess a rough idea; you do not need to calculate the cube count yourself.
YOUR PROJECT
Tell Brian what you have in mind.
Share the subject, approximate dimensions, display location and timing in the existing inquiry form. Mention that your project is an art commission. Brian will discuss the idea, current availability and the appropriate next step before a scope is agreed.
Both can be explored. The decision depends on the source detail, contrast, proposed dimensions and rights to the image. A design review establishes whether the subject reads clearly in the cube grid.
What should I send first?
Start with the subject or idea, approximate dimensions, a description of the space, your location and desired timing. Brian can explain which reference images or site details will help next.
