An arcade you spent weekends in, the cassette that stayed in your car or a visual detail from your first computer can provide a stronger idea than a wall full of unrelated icons. Tell Brian which references are personal and which are simply a style you enjoy. A focused concept gives the final artwork a point of view.

Two decades, many visual languages.
The 1980s can suggest bold graphics, analog sound and arcade color. The 1990s can lead toward early digital interfaces, alternative music, skate graphics and home gaming. These are starting references rather than rigid rules. Mixing eras works when the composition has a deliberate connection.
Brian lived and created artwork during this period. His archival Prince drawing and present-day cube mosaic connect that history with new ways of making physical and digital art.

Choose a form that belongs in your room.
A collector may want a single portrait; a game room may need a strong composition that holds its own beside screens and cabinets. Colored pencil, vector illustration and hand-built cube mosaics each offer a different texture and scale.
Discuss the source material, display, size and whether you want an original physical piece or a digital deliverable. Existing shop releases remain separate from bespoke commissions.
YOUR PROJECT
Tell Brian what you have in mind.
Share the subject, approximate dimensions, display location and timing in the existing inquiry form. Mention that your project is an art commission. Brian will discuss the idea, current availability and the appropriate next step before a scope is agreed.
Yes. Choose a meaningful connection—your music collection, gaming history or a particular place—so the composition feels intentional rather than crowded.
What should I send first?
Start with the subject or idea, approximate dimensions, a description of the space, your location and desired timing. Brian can explain which reference images or site details will help next.
