01

Choose the guest moment you want to shape.

A lobby piece may be the first visual impression; a suite artwork may reward a quieter, closer look. Consider arrival, waiting areas, circulation and the guest’s view from seating. The subject can connect with the property’s story without relying on generic destination imagery.

02

Work within the hospitality design plan.

Provide the palette, finishes, furniture plan and lighting direction. Brian can discuss an original composition that complements those choices while retaining its own identity. Mockups are useful for evaluating scale, but final materials and colors need project review rather than relying solely on a screen.

03

Plan maintenance and installation early.

Hotel artwork needs a clear handling, cleaning and support approach. Describe guest access, housekeeping routines and any operational constraints. Larger or heavier pieces may need specialist installation coordinated with the property team.

A unique lobby commission and a series for guest rooms are different production models. Agree originality, repetition, reproduction rights and responsibilities before commissioning.

Questions about your artwork

Can you coordinate with a hospitality designer?

Yes. Share the design package, decision process, dimensions and schedule. Material, mounting and installation responsibilities are agreed for the specific project.

What should I send first?

Start with the subject or idea, approximate dimensions, a description of the space, your location and desired timing. Brian can explain which reference images or site details will help next.
