01

Build around one defining reference.

An analog synthesizer, a cassette label, an arcade cabinet silhouette or the color of a favorite record sleeve can become the starting point. Describe what you remember about it: the sound, atmosphere, typography or place. Brian can use that information to develop a composition with more personality than a generic neon montage.

02

Let the room set the intensity.

A brightly lit arcade and a quieter listening room need different levels of contrast and detail. Photographs of existing cabinets, speakers and lighting help establish whether the art should echo the room or introduce a clear counterpoint. A strong silhouette can stay readable beside visually busy equipment.

03

Choose original interpretation over a collage of logos.

Personal objects, an original portrait or a custom graphic scene can express the decade without depending on a collection of copied marks. Supplied brand or entertainment references are reviewed for the intended use.

Possible formats include graphic illustration, drawing and custom-color cube mosaics. The medium, dimensions and physical or digital delivery are agreed after discussing the concept. Share your most important references, not an exhaustive list.

Questions about your artwork

Can the piece match my arcade cabinets?

Their colors and proportions can inform the design. Provide photographs and dimensions; exact color expectations need discussion because screens, printed materials and room lighting differ.

What should I send first?

Start with the subject or idea, approximate dimensions, a description of the space, your location and desired timing. Brian can explain which reference images or site details will help next.

Independent artwork by Brian Bemo. No affiliation with or endorsement by depicted artists, estates or brands is implied. Commercial and room mockups are concepts where labeled.
